What we collect when you contact us, who sees it, and how long we keep it. There is not much of it, which is rather the point.

01Who We Are

Wallburg Dirt Worx, LLC is a grading, excavation and demolition company based in High Point, North Carolina. This policy explains what we do with the information you give us through wallburgdirtworx.com.

It’s short, because we collect very little.

02What You Give Us

The only information we collect directly is what you type into the contact form or tell us when you get in touch. That is usually:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number and email address
  • The property address and a description of the work
  • Any photos or details you choose to send

You don’t have to fill anything in to browse this site.

03What Gets Collected Automatically

Like any website, our hosting server keeps standard access logs. These typically record an IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. They are used to keep the site running and secure.

04What We Do Not Do

Stated plainly, because a lot of policies bury it.

We do not sell or rent your information to anybody.

We don’t run advertising pixels or retargeting, we don’t run third party analytics on this site, and we don’t use call tracking numbers. We don’t build advertising profiles, and we won’t add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.

05How We Use It

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a site visit
  • To prepare and send you a quote
  • To carry out and invoice work you have accepted
  • To keep a record of jobs we have done
  • To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations

That’s the whole list. If we ever wanted to use your details for something else, we’d ask first.

06Who Sees It

Only the people who need to in order to get your job done.

  • Our own team. Whoever is quoting, scheduling or running your job.
  • Our customer management platform. Enquiries submitted through the contact form are delivered into a third party system we use to manage quotes and jobs. They process it on our behalf and don’t use it for their own purposes.
  • Our website host. They store the site and its server logs.
  • Professional advisers or authorities, where the law requires it.

If a job needs a permit, a plan or a state notification, the property address and job details go to the relevant agency as part of that filing.

07Cookies

This site uses only the cookies needed to make it work and keep it secure. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.

08Keeping It Safe

The site runs over an encrypted connection and access to enquiry records is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure and we can’t promise otherwise, but we take it seriously and we don’t hold more than we need.

09How Long We Keep It

Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept for a reasonable period and then removed. Records for jobs we carried out are kept as long as we need them for warranty, tax and legal reasons.

If you want your details removed sooner, ask us and we’ll do it where we aren’t legally required to keep them.

10Your Choices

Whatever state you are in, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete it, where we are not required to keep it
  • Stop contacting you

Call or email us and we’ll handle it. We won’t make you jump through hoops or treat you differently for asking.

11North Carolina Residents

North Carolina does not currently have a comprehensive consumer data privacy statute of the kind some other states have passed. We honour the requests listed above regardless of where you live.

If you believe your information has been misused, contact us first. You also have the right to raise it with the North Carolina Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division.

12Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on property. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us something, contact us and we’ll remove it.

13Changes To This Policy

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we’ll say so here rather than quietly amend it.
